Can I Temporarily Register A Car In Wa State

Vehicles licensed in another country

Applying for a vehicle licence

Applications for a vehicle licence must be submitted in person at a Driver and Vehicle Services centre or regional agent.

You will demand to provide:

A valid Certificate of Inspection;
Completed Application to License a Vehicle (Form VL17);
Completed Proof of Identity Nominated Owner/Vehicle Licence Holder (Grade VL186) if applicative;

Registering a company or organisation

Where a vehicle is being licensed in the proper name of a registered company or organisation, an authorised representative of that visitor or organisation may nowadays the completed application and valid certificate of inspection provided that the awarding class has been completed and signed by a Visitor Director or Company Secretarial assistant.
